I don't measure success by the number of homes I sell. I measure it by how much wealth, opportunity, and peace of mind my clients walk away with. I run every recommendation through a wealth lens: what the home sells for, what the next place costs, and what happens to the difference. I've advised clients to keep low-interest mortgages instead of selling, and I've told sellers their home is worth more as a rental than a sale. Every one of those calls cost me a commission. Over 20 years and 54 homes sold across Prince George's County, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Prince George's County is not one market to me. It's dozens of distinct communities, each with its own price points, buyer profiles, and appreciation trends. Bowie is not Fort Washington. Upper Marlboro is not College Park or Clinton. I advise neighborhood by neighborhood, never by county average.
